What's Our Pint of View?

Welcome to the Pints of View Blog page for St Joseph's Church, Merry Hill, Wolverhampton.

Pints of View nights are nights run at our local pub the Merry Hill in Trysull Road. We have panellists with something worth hearing (both from St Jo's but also outside) and an audience of pub goers with questions to ask and lots of views worth hearing.

The event takes a “Question Time” format with members of the audience asking the panel questions on God, life, the universe and every thing in between, followed by a discussion from the floor. So if you have a question or a viewpoint whether it’s on The Hot Topic of the Day or The Origins of the First Day this is the ideal event to air them.

Our first event this January which had local MP Rob Marris as a guest panellist was great fun and we had over 30 people attend, which we felt was a great start.

We are looking to run more events in the Spring. Dates of events and topics will be posted on here as soon as we have them!

As well as letting you know when, where and with whom our events are running. It's our intention to update our blog from time to time with our "Pint of View" on issues of the day from a Christian viewpoint. If you have any subject however great, small, easy or difficult to answer let us know and we'll get a blog out on that subject.

In the meantime do come back and visit us and yes, do join us for a pint next time we're at the Merry Hill!
